In this little town it has been a tradition that's been going on for generations. The election of a person to be killed that is. Just like it was tradition for him, every year The College Kid (or just The Kid) gets away from the little town, heck even the country in order to not have to be a part of such a thing. This year however he will not be so lucky.

Isha didn't expect to die, and she definitely didn't expect to wake up in 1980 as Parvati Patil. If the universe had any respect, she would've been Hermione-at least then her obsessive need for straight A's would be "in character." Instead, she's stuck as the girl whose canon contribution is giggling and liking Divination. Hard pass. Raised by parents who think a 98% on a test is a "good start," Isha spends her pre-Hogwarts years speed-running the British magical curriculum just to stay sane. By the time she reaches Gryffindor, she's not there for the gossip; she's there to make sure Harry Potter survives long enough to graduate, mostly because she can't stand how inefficient the original plot was. Harry is confused, Ron is intimidated, and Padma is just trying to figure out when her twin sister became a tactical genius with a terrifying "Tiger Mom" work ethic. The Wizarding World is chaotic, but Isha has a plan, a stash of homemade snacks, and zero patience for anyone's nonsense.
