That she refuses to turn bitter because of the cruel world. Because that's not who she is. And that' what she will never be. With each passing day he spent with her, he saw himself slowly stop picking up the shattered pieces and putting them back together. He saw himself letting go of what's gone. And appreciate what he had at this moment. He found himself starting over, Becoming a person he wanted to be instead of being someone the world forced him to be. He found his black and white world became a colorful landscape. Smiles adorned his once tightly sealed lips. And the emptiness was replaced with joy. He came to appreciate the sunny mornings in winter and a cold iced tea in summer. The moment when he stopped letting the world to change him, the world changed into a better one for him.

Post War. Hinata has a promise to fulfill, and in order to do that, she has to leave the village against her father's wishes. After serving his sentence in Konoha, Sasuke decides to leave Konoha to properly discover himself and a new path besides vengeance. On this journey, he stumbles on a small village, and more important a familiar face. More surprising is the child under Hinata's care, this child has a striking resemblance to someone very familiar. (Not a very good summary, but enjoy the story!)
