Before it disappears, nine writhing tails fill the sky above the battle, before they too are swallowed up by the mountain. That beast was supposed to be vanquished with the reconquering of Erebor. It couldn't be- The Kyuubi has returned to the Lonely Mountain. Now, of all times.
