Tomorrow, King Arthur would wed another. While Lancelot must stand near and have to be the perfect picture of loyal strength as he watches the man he loves promise his life to someone else. When he was young, it had seemed simple to give his life to Camelot. To Arthur. To die if necessary... or live if allowed. He had not anticipated that living could hurt more than dying.

However, when a mysterious force pulls Gammamon from his newfound home in California to a strange realm, he must slash right through the fire to get the blades he needs to take down its ruler, corrupt with immortality. On his 18th birthday he fulfills a promise he made a long time ago, he takes 3 of his closest friends with him to Camelot. The plan was to find a ruler in his place, but soon long buried secrets arise. Hearts are broken. Betrayals are made. Friendships are forged and love is found. Will Sonic fulfil his destiny as the one, true king? Should be updated once every month at least. *Cover art not mine. Book will contain violence, blood, boyxboy and swearing.

Stories with magic, princesses, dragons, and heroes who save the day always end in happy endings. Where the hero defeats the villain, brings peace to the kingdom and finds their true love so they can live happily ever after. That's what Sonic believed as he lived in Camelot, ruling as king with his loyal knight at his side. (Un)fortunately he's thrown back into Mobius with his original family and home after being presumed missing for over three years. Except they don't understand his grief, that his memories are a mess, that his heart's broken. How can they expect him to be okay when every time he even glances at his friends he sees the counterparts that became his family in Camelot - a family he's left behind. Sonic's (somewhat) grateful to be home, to see his friends, though it hurts that he wishes to stay even if his heart longs to leave. Sonic doesn't believe in story tales, not anymore. Why should he? When he might never get his?

This was just a Sonic 06 moments book, but I don't play just 06, you know? So, I turned this story into a screenshots book instead. I will try to include a short story or caption for every screenshot. :P

Lancelot knew trying to ascend the ranks of Knighthood wouldn't be easy. Not because of his capabilities, no, it was due to his nature. He was a creature born of a Hawthorne tree who couldn't speak a lie and had blood of pure gold. He was fae; he couldn't be trusted. That's what the council believed, at least. The king, on the other hand? ---- "You would be fulfilling a knight's duty by being my guard, yes," Arthur leaned forward just a bit more, his elbow resting on his knee as his free hand propped up his chin, "However, to the rest of the castle you would be a... well, let's say concubine." Sonic, Shadow and Blaze are once again pulled into a storybook adventure, along with Knuckles, Silver and Jet, this time, in the Storybook of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. With the help of Caliburn, a talking Sacred Sword with a sharp tongue, and Merlina, a powerful wizard lynx who is the granddaughter of Merlin himself, Sonic and his friends must now explore the once striving lands of Camelot to find the other Sacred Swords and defeat the Black Knight, before all is lost.
