AU. Obi-Wan took Youngling Kate Gracelyn as his padawan at the same time that Anakin took Ahsoka as his. Obi Wan Kenobi, a fresh out of collage in debt 24 year old, works part time a coffee until he can afford to move and get a better job. His uncle Qui Gon has offered many times to help but Obi Wan refuses every single time. But why? He could have a stable well paying job already. Something was holding him back and he wouldn't tell Qui Gon. Satine Kryze, a 23 year old law major in her last year, works in the library across from Obi Wan's coffee shop. On her break she always, without fail, comes in and orders herself a coffee and maybe some cake. Most of the time she comes in to relax, but spends the majority of it watching Obi Wan clean or make coffees. They hadn't talked much outside of the shop but occasionally Obi Wan would come to borrow a book, or they would both be on the closing shift and Obi would walk Satine home. Their relationship seemed to just be a friendship. But do they both want something more? Or will their relationships of the past come back and ruin it. Btw.. at the end of each chapter, and we will put H or M. Those stand for who wrote that chapter, Hannah or Mckenna!

An AU in which instead of Obi-Wan and Rex being on Kadavo for a few days, they're there for week and month and instead of escaping the slavery facility on Kadavo, Obi-Wan's defiance eventually does become compliance... Obi-Wan Kenobi is eventually broken by the slavers, sold into slavery, bouncing from Master to Master. Though, after a few weeks of being a missing Jedi of the Republic and having sent search teams out for him, one team, lead by Anakin Skywalker, finds the poor, broken, devastated Jedi Master just barely clinging to life. Chacun essayent de profiter au maximum de ces jours de répits jusqu'à ce qu'une veille connaissance d'Obi-Wan, la Duchesse Satine Kryze, l'invite à dîner avec elle. Cela fait quelque semaines qu'ils ce sont revus après une dizaine d'année de séparation et après quelque péripétie Satine avoua à Obi-Wan qu'elle l'aimait et lui déclara qu''il aurait quitté l'ordre des Jedi pour si elle lui avait dit plus tôt. Les deux furent très ébranler par ces révélations, ils espèrent alors que ce diner leur permettra de mettre les point sur les i. Cette soirée leurs permettra t-elle de mettre fin à leur relation ou bien les poussera t-elle à s'engager l'un pour l'autre ? Et si la guerre n'était pas si loin d'eux?
