Ash has been returned home as the champion of the world. But after a 10 year long break, he got bored. He asked if he could return to the Cerise his research team and got happily accepted. He returned to the research facility and is met with Goh again. They started working together more again. He heard later on that Goh has been working non stop and everyone is worried for what is up with the boy. Ash also notice how Goh was keeping distance from him. Like something was wrong.
