When beings with powers like the vizards are invading karakura town, ichigo, ryuko, satsuki and the others must defeat this threat, find mako and get them back to their own dimension. But for ryuko and satsuki to fair against the enemy, they need to enter the path of the soul reaper. Via unfortunate circumstances, Nui Harime is able to return to life after the destruction of Shinra Koketsu - and with nothing left to lose, she wants to take revenge on Ryuko. For that, she takes Mako as prisoner, forcing Ryuko to seek her up at REVOCS HQ in Tokyo to meet her arch enemy in combat, and the longer Ryuko hesitates, the more dangerous Harime becomes. If she wants to fulfill her journey, she must face off Harime one last time in combat, without Senketsu and Scissor Blades... and realize a different kind of enemy...
