Off stage Dec had a large neon glowing sign that read "Off Limits - Do Not Handle!" and then in tiny little letters scribbled underneath almost as an afterthought it said, "Notable Exception: Ant Mcpartlin" Over Protective Ant!!!! 🥰🥰 Fluffy with a little darkness bubbling under the surface. Only 3 short chapters :)

Happens after Ant's drink-drive(whatever you wanna call it), the boys are arguing and talking and thinking. Two best friends that are torn.

2018 was a tough year for Ant, Dec and Stephen, but especially Ant. Ant had gone through a lot and had to take time off work to look after himself, but Dec and Stephen were right by his side the whole time. He didn't have to go through it alone. Dec and Stephen continued to host Saturday night takeaway, and BGT and BGMT but each and everyday they missed Ant, it just wasn't the same. It's new years eve of 2018 and Ant and Stephen were going over Dec's to spend the new years with him and Ali. This year Stephen has decided he is going to ask Ant to marry him. How? He doesn't know yet, he's going to ask Dec and Ali to help him when they go over on new years eve. Stephen wants to make this proposal something Ant will never forget, even if it makes him seem cheesy, he wants Ant to know how much he truly means to him. Stephen has been thinking about this almost all year, he needed something to distract himself from the fact that Ant was in rehab, and all he could do was wait and hope for the best. ------------------------ I have skipped 2018, so this book starts new years eve of 2018, I didn't want to risk offending anyone. Set from after the 2018 period , when Ant returned to work & was reunited with Dec. This is how their friendship changed after that period. When their connection changed from being just best mates to being as close as brothers.

A tale of two events with very different endings...

Charlie Donnelly is no longer an only child, she has one brother but she never sees him, then on September 1st 2018 her baby sister Isla Elizabeth Anne was born. Charlie gets to be a big sister for the first time and enjoys every minute of it. After still reeling from what happened to Ant, everyone is just trying to pick up the pieces as they move along. A year later and things have settled Ant is back with Dec and back on BGT and I'm a Celebrity, Twenty Twenty is the end of a decade and a new start for Ant, he now appreciates everyone more than ever before.

Based on Ants struggles from last year and Decs support. I actually wrote this months ago but didn't want to publish it until Ant was well on the road to recovery and back at work,which he obviously now is!

It's another series of Saturday Night Takeaway, and another round of Ant vs Dec. The challenge this week? An obstacle course ending with a terrifying zip wire. But what happens when something goes horribly wrong?
