All of us are a pieces of a puzzle that destiny loves playing. Each and every single steps of ours is preplanned so I won't even dwell on the thoughts of what could have happened in my life because I know there was no other way round. No alternate ending. And maybe its not up to me how my story goes but I can surely tell it the way I experienced it. Delve deeper into the story of a woman of power in a patriarchal world who fought for herself and made her own identity. Here is the story of a princess of the mighty Kuru dynasty. One like never before.

"I left, I couldn't stay no more. They were all drunk. Some harsh words were passed on. Some insults were thrown. The next moment swords were unsheathed, the sharp metals sliced through kinsmen by kinsmen. The ground has been drenched with the Yadava blood." he uttered weakly, the lump in his throat forbidding him from further speech. She looked up at him, his eyes weary and distant. So that's how it was going to be, their bloodline was to be swept off in an intoxicated brawl. Her thin fingers found his cold ones, as she intertwined them, some of her warmth seeping into his being. "What about Dau?" "He went off, presumably into the woods, way before things got out of control." spoke the man of midnight skin, closing his eyes, "What about sister Revati?" "She was feeling out of sorts since the afternoon, so she retired for the day. She's been sleeping ever since." answered his queen, realization dawning upon her. The looked into each other's eyes in shock, the truth nowhere ready to settle. Krishna sat himself on the bedside table, his hands gripping the silken wood too hard. Rukmini sat down in front of him, pressing the edge of her saree on his forehead, wiping away the sheen of sweat that had collected. Warm tears cascaded down his cheeks, falling onto her drapes. Her free hand cupped his wet cheek, and he leaned into the touch. "It is time, Rukmini, it is time." On some fortunate days- #7 under Narayana #2 under Rukmini

She, a murderess. He, the Preserver. If they are bound, can a murderer ever be loved? **** She is a nameless shadow who walks in the form of a great beauty, they say. A beauty so deadly that it kills. Bodies crop up, from time to time, and people go missing, never to be found. All because they uttered a blasphemy, or disparaged the Preserver. He is a protector, an Incarnate. An enigmatic mystery, who only seeks the protection and preservation of the joy of all his people. For his people, he fought many long battles, banishing demons from his lands, always seeking the greater welfare of all. When she is caught and brought to Dvaraka, their worlds collide. He is her judge and she his prisoner. Nevertheless, he demands an unorthodox punishment from her that is hardly one. Against a conspiracy that rachets up, can they work together and learn to love? Or is murder too grievous a sin? [complete.] [word count - 60K words.]
