As the savanna sickens and old fears return, stories spread of Ajákùta, a spirit of drought stirring in the scarred north. Most dismiss them. Àjàó doesn't. He has dreamed of falling skies and crying rivers, and the wind has never spoken to him without reason. With Ẹwà, a crane who rides the air, and Akilápá, a sharp-tongued agama lizard, Àjàó crosses a land already coming apart.
Corruption follows their steps, truth is hard to trust, and three ancestral charms of Earth, Air, and Water, may be the only thing standing between the savanna and ruin.
