An average day on the African Savanna from the POV of an aging lion.

Hannah's world has been destroyed beyond repair. Hannah recently moved her old doll into the attic after the death of her friend, who was found broken and bloody with a smiling doll seated on her lap. Unfortunately, Hannah's doll doesn't like the attic very much, and is screaming for revenge.

Seventeen year old Savanna Taylor has an abusive father. Her twin brother Hunter, and older brother Beau try to stop him from hitting their mom. When their dad leaves for a year on "business" everything is calm. Their mom is lonely. On a desperate attempt to get him back, she adopts a two month old baby girl, and tells him it's his. When he comes back, he is ten times worse than when he left. Cameron, the most popular boy in the eleventh grade, gives her a note telling her he heard her parents fighting. Later that night, her parents are fighting again, and she takes her younger sister and leaves.
