Animal cruelty- can be either deliberate abuse or simply the failure to take care of an animal. Either way, and whether the animal is a pet, a farm animal, or wildlife, the victim can suffer terribly. So I had one of these before but ya know had to delete it so here it is. Again.

A simple plea to the barracudas of the corporate world: do something. Do something before we find out exactly how much the Earth can take. Do something today, so that your grandchildren aren't left to piece together the world you polluted. It's not impossible to be eco-friendly, and the planet's well-being is worth paying a little extra. Corona recently introduced plastic-free six-pack beer rings that break down into organic material. Patagonia turns plastic bottles into parkas. Lush Cosmetics creates solid shampoo bars to reduce packaging waste. It's possible. It's happening. Follow their example.

I was boared and just decided I wanted to write poetry lol

The world is dying and now it's official. With weeks left to live, everyone is sent into a panic. The world turns to chaos but there is some peace found in the moments in-between. Can they escape the fate they've caused?

Green and Lily, two girls from two dimensions. One problem persists with both: the destruction of the natural world. A rip in spacetime enables these look-alike lives to interact with one another, ultimately linking together their respective issues with Elzia and Earth and setting in motion a journey to attack one of the strongest forces known: human laziness.

Have you ever stopped to hear the cries of the Ocean? To feel her anguish at the suffering of her children? Just because something doesn't speak our tongue doesn't mean it isn't sentient. The Ocean too has her own thoughts and emotions and only wants the best for her precious and beloved children. A #PlasticOrPlanet Short Story specially written for the National Geographic Writing Competition in hopes of raising awareness on the importance of environmetal friendliness.

Four children are left to fend for themselves in a dark and mystical forest. A mysterious stranger arrives, lurking around their woodland hideaway, asking too many questions. The children sense danger creeping into their safe and comfortable lives.

What our world should be like

Is this really the way it has to go? Or is it time for us to do something about it? The future of this Earth is in our hands, in your hands. Don't drop it. This is my entry for the National Geographic #PlanetOrPlastic writing contest, wherein 500 words I have written a short story that was inspired by photos presented to us.

She's literally lying in the bed of luxury. She wishes she was anywhere but. She wants to change the world. But has to accept she never will.

This story features a dystopian world where fish live on land and have suffered a lot due to the effect of fish-created plastic- but nothing at all, compared to the agonies that aquatic humans suffer.

Its a very short story about an alternate future where humanity continued its road to ruination, and the real life dangers it poses. the story was inspired by our current situation

Its time to stop talking and take action.

Every day we read that how the ozone layer is deteriorating, how there is no clean water left to drink, how animals are getting extinct but what do we actually do to stop this? Reading and then sighing will not remove the toxic gases in the air, it will not remove the waste from the ocean and it will not save animals from dying. 'Think about it,' will only leave us sitting on our sofa in front of digital screens so instead of thinking, its time to show some action. NoPlastic !! Unwillingly she joins a group that cleans the beach but little did she knew, that her ignorant self, has been contributing to a major massacre. Alma is a 13 year old girl, she lives in San Francisco, Californa. She's not like any other child or person she knows. Everyone thinks she's crazy and should get special care. Everything is coming to an end and no one is there to help her. Will she save herself and maybe everyone on earth or will she always be know as crazy?
