This is my entry for National Geographic's #PlanetOrPlastic writing contest.

Like the Earth, we are mainly composed of water - it is our absolute base necessity and top priority for survival. When our oceans become polluted and toxic, we do too. My entry for the National Geographic's #PlanetorPlastic writing contest. In under 500 words I will tell my fictional story of how the state of our planet reflects the state of humankind.

From our motto to our mission, this book will guide you to our motives. Generations before us polluted the earth. Let us be the generation that saved it.

Hello everybody! This is my entry for National Geographics writing contest: Planet or Plastic. The contest focusses on the devastating impact of single-use plastics - a subject which I personally feel very strongly about. Plastic pollution is a global issue and I believe that we all have a responsibility to change our ways and save the oceans before it is too late. Our choices matter and together we CAN make a difference. But we have to act now! ..... If you are interested in entering the contest, there is still time.
