Weeks after Dumbledore was murdered by Severus Snape, the order show up in Private Drive to get Harry safe before his trace is broken and Lily's magic is lifted, resulting in the death of Mad Eye Moody. Bill and Fleur's wedding is interrupted by a warning from Kingsley that the Ministry has fallen before Death Eaters attack the wedding. Harry, Ron and Hermione apparate away as they get ready to start their Horcrux Hunt. But Mikayla gets captured by the Death Eaters and is brought to Malfoy Manor. Mikayla finds herself with a rather surprising ally, that helps her infiltrate Death Eater meetings, so that she can report back to Kingsley, who now runs the order, after Moody's death. Balancing all this, but Mikayla still makes an effort to help her friends, leaving behind messages, provisions and warnings to help them with their quest. But as the War brings darkness to all walks of life, it starts conflict between those who are peaceful most of the time. Causes rifts in friendship, romances and families like nothing else.
