We can fight to change the path we are on but no matter what we have a chosen destiny. Sometimes that destiny isnt what we want, sometimes it is, and sometimes is nothing like it seems. "I like to think that our entire lives are laid out like chutes and ladders. Sure you can take all these twists and turns but you still have the same beginning and end. Mariah is a 18 year old girl in college. On winter break She goes to visit her family until a big accident happens. She is put in a hospital and when she wakes up she finds out that a guy saved her life.

I got the idea for this story from the movie The Green Mile, I never read the book. But ever since I saw that movie at the time it came out, I have been toying with the idea! Told in first person, the individual telling the story tells how they had been born with the gift of helping others by removing extra fat, disease or even providing energy to people working long hours.
