But when her father dies, her mum decides to complete her life goal of becoming a photographer in New York and has decided to take Emmeline along for the ride. Casey Rebecca Franklin, was born and raised on a farm in the middle of Texas, her parents want her to take the farm after they've gone. But she thinks otherwise. After getting a scholarship at the best high school in New York, she decided to wave goodbye to her farm life, her parents and her siblings, and full fill her wish. They are the complete opposites Ones bad, ones good Ones lazy, ones brainy But they both have three things in common: They both hate each other They both crave the spotlight. They both don't know how much they mean to one another After Emmeline goes missing, Casey is determined to find her. Then she realises Emmeline's life wasn't as perfect as she made it out to be, far from it in fact. Casey, with the help of some friends, set out on a deadly mission to save a girl. But will they save Emmeline from a horrible fate? Or will Emmeline be left to suffer in a light from her past? But none of their options will be easy...

'Fuck, Stella is going to kill me.' "Holy shit!" said one of the twins. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?" Jensen's mom came storming down the basement stairs.

Elliot Jensen is not enjoying her summer as much as she would like to. Ever since he left, her days have been nothing but sitting and reading and thinking about his lovely dark eyes. Elliot Fintry is trying to get through the summer as fast as he can. Being away from Manchester (and a certain someone) is slowly killing him. \\ This story/chapter is my entry for northbynorth's Saving Elliot one-shot competition, but you can understand this without reading the original story.

The dead have been waking for years now, and I still haven't gotten used to the smells. The sound. The feeling of dead things watching me as I eat, sleep, breath. It started three years ago, I think... yes, this is the third summer. Ugh, summer. Summer is a cursed gift. They rot away so much quicker, but the smell... God, the smell... --------------------------------------------------------------------- (I was supposed to publish this for a one shot competition like two years ago lol. I fell in love with Saving Elliot by @Northbynorth and when she had a fanfic contest I was all over it. But I didn't have the confidence to actually post it.... Better late than never I suppose. Here's Elliot and Elliot, set in a post-zombie-apocalyptic world. If you haven't read Saving Elliot you should totally check it out. She's editing it, so it's not finished anymore, but it's a great read. Seriously, go follow @northbynorth and read #SavingElliot. Don't even read this trash one shot, just go gift yourself that story.) November Update: So if you couldn't tell, I'm going to try to continue the story. There's going to be a little bit of love, quite a bit of loss, and some adventure in there somewhere. I don't really know where I want this story to go, but I'm sure it'll be fun. Being passive made people overlook her worth and in some ways, not want her around. Just like clouds. In contrast, he was always the life of every party; anybody within a mile radius would get a shot of sunshine. I know seeing the clouds cover up the sun or the sun outshining the clouds is nothing out of the usual; two different elements brought together is typical and unremarkable. Although sometimes you could find something extraordinary from the customary with the right approach. (This is a Saving Elliot One Shot. If you haven't heard of Saving Elliot by northbynorth yet, I highly suggest you read it now!) (Full of typos and errors but will edit asap! Sorry for the inconvenience!)
