I loved the anime and deeply connected with it and here I am lol. It got the ending it deserved, but obviously none of us were satisfied so here we go. Kousei Arima was hit by what he had just seen during his performance. He saw HER disappear and he was beyond devastes. she was gone. However he gets a surprise visit and learns Kaori had survived the surgery. She wasn't gone. But Kousei never gets the letter. He, along with Tsubaki and Watari, wait days for Kaori to recover and eventually visit her, with nothing being the same ever again The ending we all wanted, from yours truly

It was at that time that she finally decided to give her son to his father who could raise him better than her. As his parents, they knew that their son would understand her decision in the near future. Years later, Kousei finds out that his father had been dating a new woman that angered and hurt him terribly and had put his relationship with his father to the test. How he acted around her surprises his father, friends, supporters and relatives. Most especially, the wide circle of entertainment that had gripped him in a very young age. Will Kousei be able to accept her mother's reasons why she gave him to his father? Will he be able to accept his father's girlfriend?

Kaori and kousei have just left the school. Kaori is happy to have spent three day with him. Tsubaki had been having of feelings of jealousy with her finally realizing she is in love with kousei. At first, he attributed his change in spirit to the arrival of the capricious, passionate Kaori Miyazono. But what if a kick from his childhood best friend and "sister" causes him to reframe things and transition into life without a certain blonde?
