As I did my homework, talking to Leyla, I was mostly silent. Everything was going fine. Until the wind picked up and slammed my window open. A man came jumping through it and I yelped in surprise. "I must confess.." He said as my homework went flying around the room. I desperately made a grab for my water as it toppled over. Thankfully none of it spilt on my babysitting notebook. "Who are you and how did you get in here?" My laptop slammed shut and the man stepped forward. "I did so your mom." I set the cup upright, shooting the man an odd look before bringing my phone up to my ear. "Yeah, Leyla, I've gotta go." "But we have a school project due tomorrow and Percy won't answer." She complained though the phone. "Ley, try calling Percy again. Some dude on crack who looks like he would be trying not to laugh while in a meeting just dramatically claimed he did 'it' with mum."

Have you ever been in a toxic work environment where the boss is a charismatic, gaslighting entity, whose claws pop out when she suddenly realises that you are no longer playing her games? To add spice, she carelessly promised nothing short of greatness to external clients (without your knowledge) --even if it were work that the organisation simply does not do! Her refusal to acknowledge operational realities and limitations was simply reframed as "challenges." Whatever she promised, she was poised to take all the credit. If anything went wrong, it was due to YOUR failure to rise to a challenge! She simply took no blame! Her lies were carefully thought-out deflections to hide from her managerial deficiencies. This is my story and how I dealt with this situation.

Hi. I'm Mahogany. My birthday is in two days and turning 16 is the equivalent to death in my case. I was never supposed to be born and according to the law I am technically illegal. Married couples are only allowed 3 children, but I am a fourth. I'm a mistake. I should not be here. I should be dead. But the corporation has rules against killing an innocent child without reason, even though that's what they do to 14 of us every year. They tell us sins, only to send us out to die so they can feel the weight of theirs sins lifted off their shoulders. And since I will be eligible to be selected to go and have myself slaughtered, they will now have a way to kill me.

That is what I can call websites, social media and forums including Quora, where people pour their souls out, express their events, feelings, opinions, values, explore, explain, persuade, investigate, complain, ask for piece of advise and give them, quarrel, bicker, support, inspire, encourage, sympathize...I saw anonymous detailed post of one powerful looking big man.But that man was not always like this. He used to be a little helpless boy too.

This was the situation that faced Sally Roberts in 2012 This is the compelling story of a child's cancer diagnosis, treatment and recovery against the odds, and his mother's courage as an advocate for her son - and for better treatment for children with cancer.

Three young men were expelled from their hometown. They were scapegoats: victims that society buried while they were still alive. Often such people are either murdered or they are killed over time due to the neglect of society. This case was different. Those that buried these three men didn't realise that those men were seeds..

My maybe-not-so-horrible-anymore-right-now life. I attempted to add as many tags as I could when I tried to think about details of myself I wanted to mention. I'll keep it as clean as possible and only mention the more...triggering content only as an explanation to another scenario or some such thing like that. I'll add more tags as time goes on, depending on what other random things I might bring up. Well, anyway... ~~~~ Be true, stay you ❀️❀️ ~Day Dreamer~

This is just some insight into the bull that some of us people who still live with our families have to deal with. Any age applies. I will tell you my story of the life that I am fed up with and you tell me if I am in over my head. I'm pouring my heart out in this book but I don't mind what you have to say. Constructive criticism could possibly take my brain and move it from the wrong place to the right. I also want this book to allow you, anyone who has ANY problems, to vent out your worries and complications. Feel free to do as you please. (Also a heads-up to those who don't tolerate strong language for some reason. There's few in here but they are still used)

Her father, Amar, dictates their life through corporate memos and cold critique, while her mother, Nalini, weaponizes her love for golden-boy Aryan, using her daughter as the invisible scapegoat. To survive the constant emotional warfare and her mother's crushing narcissism, Ivnat has mastered the art of shutting down. Her emotional world is a flatline-a necessary anesthesia to keep the toxic family drama from breaking her entirely. But when an unexpected crisis forces her to look inward, she realizes the price of her numbness: she can no longer feel joy, love, or even sadness. She is a ghost in her own life. The walls she built to keep the monsters out are now walls holding her prisoner. Can a girl who has spent a lifetime running from emotion figure out how to reclaim her heart before she loses her soul forever?
