As I did my homework, talking to Leyla, I was mostly silent. Everything was going fine. Until the wind picked up and slammed my window open. A man came jumping through it and I yelped in surprise. "I must confess.." He said as my homework went flying around the room. I desperately made a grab for my water as it toppled over. Thankfully none of it spilt on my babysitting notebook. "Who are you and how did you get in here?" My laptop slammed shut and the man stepped forward. "I did so your mom." I set the cup upright, shooting the man an odd look before bringing my phone up to my ear. "Yeah, Leyla, I've gotta go." "But we have a school project due tomorrow and Percy won't answer." She complained though the phone. "Ley, try calling Percy again. Some dude on crack who looks like he would be trying not to laugh while in a meeting just dramatically claimed he did 'it' with mum."

Have you ever been in a toxic work environment where the boss is a charismatic, gaslighting entity, whose claws pop out when she suddenly realises that you are no longer playing her games? To add spice, she carelessly promised nothing short of greatness to external clients (without your knowledge) --even if it were work that the organisation simply does not do! Her refusal to acknowledge operational realities and limitations was simply reframed as "challenges." Whatever she promised, she was poised to take all the credit. If anything went wrong, it was due to YOUR failure to rise to a challenge! She simply took no blame! Her lies were carefully thought-out deflections to hide from her managerial deficiencies. This is my story and how I dealt with this situation.

Putting the pieces of childhood trauma and abuse into words. Saying it out loud, because there are more of us than we realize. knowing that we are not alone is key to recovery.

When we hear,see some stories about child marriage, what do we learn and imagine? Sad scared little Arab, African and Asian girl pressured, even forced I to it with some old pervert by society, or two shy indian or Bangladeshi kids doing it for so-called family honour being unable to provide for themselves and take life in their own hands? Or some por children from cult like FLDS or others, sykh, Hindus, Muslims? Or some gypsies tribes with two luxuriously dressed kids and pompous. Although they are very poor in daily life? Or teenagers on love like Romeo and Juliet, or two asian kids arranged by parents who grow to adjust to each other and love? This was not the case with that girl. She made a choice to become a bride when she was a child herself to escape her prison from birth. Her cruel lifegiver who gave life also to...her rapist. This is just some insight into the bull that some of us people who still live with our families have to deal with. Any age applies. I will tell you my story of the life that I am fed up with and you tell me if I am in over my head. I'm pouring my heart out in this book but I don't mind what you have to say. Constructive criticism could possibly take my brain and move it from the wrong place to the right. I also want this book to allow you, anyone who has ANY problems​, to vent out your worries and complications. Feel free to do as you please.
