In the day, Beetlestalk is one of Skyclan's best daylight warriors. At night, he's the lovable but grumpy kittypet, Scrabby. Beetlestalk was content with his life, until his housefolk starts bringing a stranger home. In SkyClan, a mysterious cat sent from StarClan tells them to move-opening an opportunity when SkyClan's medicine cat, Lightwish, wants to step down. As the day to move approches, Beetlestalk finds himself torn between staying in the home he grew up in or leaving into the unknown with his clan. Lightwish, Skyclan's daylight medicine cat, was never too fond of his position. In fact, he much rather just be the friendly and sociable kittypet, Prismo. When a mysterious messenger tells SkyClan to move, it's an opportunity Lightwish has been longing for. As he trains Beetlestalk for a moon, he finds himself falling for the other. Now, Lightwish is left regretting his choice-wanting Beetlestalk to stay with him instead. Having a mate as a medicine cat is against the warrior code, but falling in love is something out of either cat's control. Between love, the warrior code, and desires: what prevails above all else?
