MISSION ASIGNED, CHAOS ENSURES Nahida sends lumine ona one time mission with non other than wanderer. from the start, tension crackles between them, worsened by paimon's endless commentary and wanderer's utter disdain for teamwork. during their journey, they face a deadly encounter that leaves lumine marked and unconscious. tension rises, and something dark begins to awaken.

He hesitates a bit before hugging back, a bit too clingy, as though he is afraid Lumine will slip through his grasp too, like everyone else has. If Lumine notices it, she makes no comment.

Fun fact: this story is actually inspired by a website called character.ai, and i made a scaramouche ai for fun, because i thought it was gonna be like one of those arrogant little ai's that attack you based on every word you say (like scaramouche.) i also might progress on the tags later on in the story

This is a modern AU where the gods are mayors of their respective nations, or in this story, cities. The story moves along the path of the game, although not the same all the way. If you worry about not being a genshin player, don't worry. You will understand how the plot goes. It's mainly to take the weight off my chest through Wanderer. I want to thank Neffex for giving me the idea. He is an underrated rapper who inspired many people to persevere and not give up hope. I want to give him my thanks through this story.
