Violet hates her parents. First, they forced her to move across the United States, and then they make her invite the weirdo next door to her house. Something isn't right about the house. Paintings are everywhere, and they are all creepy. But one in particular is terrifying to Violet. One that the weirdo strangely seems to like and hate at the same time. The painting is named Lilly. No signature or anything else. Just Lilly. Lilly is a little girl with white eyes and a teddy bear. Now that wouldn't be so bad if the paintings hadn't started to come out and try to eat and possess Violet and her parents. Oh, and Lilly knows the weirdo somehow. Well, Violet and the weirdo just have to figure out how to get the paintings back to being paintings before they eat her. Sounds easy enough. (The picture is not mine on the cover.)

She's a girl with a heavy past. She's a girl no one knows about because she changed her name, she keeps to herself, she moved towns and everything about her in general has changed. So what happens when the past never leaves her, haunts her, tears her apart just because she can't forget anything that happened. Nightmares and tragedy... What happens when her new neighbour just happens to come upon a story on the internet about her tragedy? Will she be able to handle it, or will she cave on first impact?

Carry the worlds weights on my shoulders just for her. Wrapping my arms around her I held her close and delicately just to make sure. Her head layed on my chest, this felt so foreign but yet so amazing. Her hugs always felt amazing like she really put all she had to offer in her hugs. She felt broken but for her I am willing to fix her piece by piece, even if I got cut during my process I'm willing to take it. Finally saying something that only sounded right for me I said "I'm willing" .
