He decided to stay but retire as Steve Rogers due to the recent events as well as the problems that would come with time due to the blip bringing back people who think Steve carrying the shield would be unfavourable due to his violation of the Sokovia Accords 7 years ago. He begins to spend time with Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch who is also dealing with things which leads to multiple events happening. Warnings: There will be spoilers for the new show The Falcon And The Winter Soldier. There will be 18+ content in this story if that makes you uncomfortable I suggest not reading it. There could potentially be spoilers for WandaVision in here too.
