Gon is the son of Ging Frecces, the more irresponsible of her two godfathers. Gon convinces her to go with him to take the hunter exam, unaware of the extent of her abilities. On the way there she meets Kurapika the sole survivor of the Kurta Clan, the son of her other godfather. The two once-mighty clans were both struck down by the same band of criminals and during their search for vengeance they find something more, but will Kurapika lose what is so valuable to him once more? After a long time of struggle, Kurapika had finally collected all of the scarlet eyes of his brethren and buried it in their holy ground. But Kurapika had not felt what he had thought he would. The feeling was completely different from what he had imagined... After reminiscing, he had himself enveloped in a dark abyss of guilt, forcing him to reveal all of his pain and suffering through shedding countless tears. The day after, since he had already showed a fatal weakness of himself, he decided to throw away all of his hidden secrets and revealed his true self, thinking that the guilt will disappear. I mean, he's not wrong and I can't really argue with him but I'm just scared for Tommy. "Do not hurt anyone until I say so..." "Yes, Delilah." Kaiser used my first name. I know he is going to keep his word. A black smoke comes out of my mouth and slowly Kaiser starts to form in front of me. The smoke stops and I lose my balance but Kaiser catches me just in time. He is in a black suit and tie and he has his hair slicked back. He truly is a very good looking demon. He places me down on the couch then proceeds to tend to my wound while he sucks out the dark spell that was put on Tommy. Kaiser looks at me with his scarlet eyes before continuing to tend to my wounds.

Scarlet was a fun loveing girl with no care in the world that is untill THEY came and destroyed all that she new and loved. When faced with the fact that someone else has been collecting scarlet eyes he's unsure what to do until he loses an auction to the unknown auctioneer. Kurapika soon learns that this rival is in fact someone he knows, someone he's worked with, its Melody, one of his former co-workers, from the Nostrade family job. The two trade information and realize that Kurapika only needs 1 set of eyes left and that Melody needs to find a way to destroy the score for the Sonata of Darkness for good. The two decide to work together hoping that they will finish their jobs once and for all. This is my first fan fiction so I decided to do it off the not so popular duo of Kurapika and Melody. I really liked both other their backstories and thought it would be interesting to combine them into a story where they finally resolve their problems together. I don't own the characters just the story. I hope you enjoy reading :)
