A girls accidentally falls in love with a boy whose family are serial killers, a boy who has never experienced love falls in love with a girl at first sight. They know that they can never have a relationship with, even if they do they know that it will never work. Both their families are from very different backgrounds with different beliefs and cultures. What happens when the two meet again at a school the boy's family is supposed to clean 'fugitives' from.

Being the girl every guy on the lacrosse team has had sex with gets tired. Well maybe not every guy but you know, people spread lies. So now Freya is damaged goods so by the time she meets Tanner she feels like she's not worthy of him because he's the best person in her life right now and even though she used people in her past she doesn't want to be used now because she changed. Tanner is the boy everyone loves and he knows it and doesn't care even though he should but school has always been easy for him and his main focus is his mom, with her working overtime to pay the bills all he can be focused on is her health.
