"Hello?" She called out. "Who's there?" In response to her question, the street light she was beneath flicked rapidly and blew out. Nicki inhaled sharply. Not knowing what to do, she looked up. There looming above the blown street light sat a dark, contorted shadow. Its menacing red eyes hinted at some dark game that Nicki didn't know she had become a part of. Its smile extended beyond its face, blood dripped from between its ragged, sharp teeth. The remaining street lamps blow out one by one. She takes off down the street... You shouldn't walk alone in the dark when there are things out to get you.
