My best friend Cass died on a Thursday. Three days later, at 2:47 AM, she sent me a voice note. Eight seconds. Her voice - exact, specific, the texture of eleven years of friendship. She said: "Don't take the 22 bus tomorrow morning." I almost didn't listen. The next morning a 22 bus on North Clark Street in Chicago lost brake function and collided with three parked vehicles. Joel Mercer went into the decommissioned Red Line tunnel system beneath Chicago alone on a Friday night in March. He documented everything. He always documented everything. That was his job. His channel. His reason for going in. His GoPro camera was found six hours later on the platform of Station Seven. Still recording. Battery at four percent. Aimed at the tunnel entrance. Joel was not with it. Joel has not been found. I have watched the footage eleven times. What is on it changes every time I watch. Not because the footage changes. Because I keep finding things I missed. Things that were there from the beginning. At timestamp 00:41:33 something appears at the tunnel entrance while Joel's back is turned. It is there for eleven seconds. Then it is not. At timestamp 01:24:08 Joel turns off his headlamp for thirty seconds. In the night vision frame, six feet behind him, something is standing completely still. Six feet. Joel did not know it was there. At timestamp 03:04:17 the footage cuts out for twenty-seven seconds. When it resumes, the camera is sitting upright on the edge of the platform. Aimed at the tunnel entrance. Joel is nowhere in the frame. The Red Line tunnel beneath Chicago was sealed in 1978. The transit authority's internal records document eleven separate worker incidents between 1971 and 1978. Eleven workers. Same tunnel. Same description. Something that watched the trains pass from the darkness. It has had forty-five years of silence. Joel disturbed that silence. ⚠️ Standalone ColdPresence story. Recently orphaned Iris is on a mission to save her friends and peers from being shipped off to a place known as Pleasure Island. NOTE: Yes, this is related to the "Pleasure Island" from Pinocchio.

Basically each part in this are different stories (if that even makes sense) also these may be less scary then you think.

Nobody in Dehradun goes near Purana Mela Ground after sunset. Five friends did. Inside the abandoned Sheesha Ghar, they found a wooden mask hanging on a rusted nail. As a joke, one of them wore it. By morning, he was dead. They buried the body. They swore never to speak of it again. But the mask remembers every face that looks at it. And it doesn't like being left alone. One by one, the friends begin to die. Strange calls after midnight. A face at the window. Footprints in places no one should be. Because something they left behind is now looking for a new face. And it knows exactly who to choose.

Sometimes, all it takes are two sentences to freak the hell out of you. In the spirit of Halloween, here are my favorite creepy two sentence stories. A/N: I do not own these stories. If the creator is given, then I will post their name.

If you think Easter egg hunts are only for little kids, you thought wrong. Emily-Rose sets up the most extreme Easter egg hunt for her friends in a haunted house, and all they have to do is find a haunted egg before 3 am and make sure it is destroyed before the demons are released from it. But there are three important rules that must not be broken. Emily-Rose punishes rule breakers.
