What happens when River suddenly starts feeling paranoid, and something constantly is screaming at them to venture into the woods? There was a memorable evening when I experienced an overwhelming feeling of being watched. After a long day, I settled into my favorite chair with a book, but a strange chill crept over me, as if someone were observing my every move. I glanced around my living room, half-expecting to see someone hiding in the corners, but all I found was quiet. To shake off the unease, I made myself a cup of tea, and the sensation only intensified. It felt as though eyes were trained on me, and when I looked outside, I saw only the empty street and swaying trees. Deciding to take a stroll to clear my mind, I couldn't shake the feeling of being followed. As I turned a corner, I spotted a figure standing under a streetlamp. My heart raced, and instinct kicked in-I quickened my pace, feeling the need to escape. Once back home, I locked the door behind me and tried to lose myself in a new book, but that unsettling presence lingered. That night, as I finally drifted off to sleep, I realized that sometimes, the ordinary can shift into the extraordinary, leaving us with an unsettling sense of awareness of the world around us.
