For thousands of years, humans have lived on the brink of extinction, scampering about in the shadows of Dragons. But hidden deep in the forests of Pyrrhia lies Starlight, a small sanctuary where humans could thrive, rather than survive. But their sense of safety has begun to crack. Dragons have caught the scent of human activity, and every passing day brings wings closer towards Starlight. Hunting parties vanish. Fear grows. Paranoia has taken hold. As the nervous Whisper wakes from his slumber, he can't help but wonder... will today be the day their world is burnt to the ground?

Imagine being suddenly transported into your favourite book series. That's what happened to Daniel lorence when he was transported into the fictional land of Phyrria. Desperate to find a way back home, he embarks on a journey, meeting familiar faces along the way. However, when an unforseen prophecy comes into play -one that never made an appearance in the books- Daniel finds himself on a perilous journey if he ever wishes to escape alive. All while he tries to keep his true identity a secret from his new friends. But when something starts to pull the strings on his mind and the world around him, it's clear something much more sinister is on the horizon. As such, he finds himself risking it all to save a world he's not even supposed to exist in. As well as having to choose. Whether living life as dragon... I accept any ideas and Constructive criticism (don't be too harsh please) so come along for the ride. NOTE: Things may seem off within the story such as: A confusing timeline, unexplained plot holes, out of character reactions, etc. All I can say is that they're in there on purpose for the most part and will be explained as you read through the story. The war has been raging for so long that nobody remembers how it started. It was strange, waking up in a world much different from your own, and as a dragon, no less. It didn't take long to learn the ways of this new world, but with war always on the horizon, ruthless parents, and a societal hierarchy that decided everything, it made goals hard to reach. However, with knowledge and memories of events of things that have yet to happen, and creations never seen before in this world, it might make reaching those goals a little easier. Leo had always struggled to fit in with society, so when the apocalypse starts, she already knows she won't make it past 50 days. The "how long will I survive an apocalypse" test from the internet said so itself. What she never expected, however, was that she would come back alive after dying. Her conscience still intact, her memories proving she did not belong with the feral horde of the infected. Yet she still did not belong... or did she? (P.S. A Stalker, named Grimm, ventures out to find what he has to find somewhere hidden in the Zone to end the haunting visions he's had for the past few months. He will be accompanied by two men who also has a goal to venture in the Zone to find what they truly desire. Going through strange entities and anomalies that can kill them instantly with a touch, their situation will get worse as they step into the depths of the Zone. This trip into the Zone will be different compared to the stalker's previous trips, and it will be the last one he will ever take.
