People are taken out of our lives and others are brought in for a reason. Loosing her brother in a car wreck made Scout stronger but more secluded. Nate helps her open up and Scout helps Asher open up. But getting Asher out of his arrogant ways is harder than it seems.

Atticus Harper is a modern day robber baron. He's greedy and cunning, and only cares about money. This is a one-part short story I wrote in my Creative Writing class last year. The character Atticus was inspired by the song "We're Going to Hell" by Cursive.

In the Crystal Empire, an empire located on the utmost north of the continent, Eugénie is the only daughter of the Archduke. Being that, she is one of the most influential women in the empire but for her this isn't enough: Eugénie wants to be the most powerful. The only problem is that the emperor just married a new empress and, what may be worse, she originates from a common family. But she has her eyes set on a new way to power and she will stop at nothing to get what she wants.
