The sun was shining brightly, the rays touched my skin and I could feel the warm breeze blowing through my hair from the window near me. I had to wake up from the nightmare that kept me awake for several days. My grandma shouted from downstairs "Eva, beta get up, else you'll be late for school." I shouted "Okay, dadi" I somehow managed to get up and went to take bath. While, the water trickled down my body, the flashbacks of my nightmare started appearing. It was a really strange nightmare. I saw my parents were exchanging me for some weird looking necklace and then in a blink of an eye the whole sky turned dark and blood started raining from the clouds. I could see more of dead bodies rising from graveyard, they all marched towards me and were calling out my name "Eva...." I saw a shadow move behind my curtains. I grabbed my towel and wrapped around my body. Then I slowly pulled the curtains aside, only to see Albert smiling foolishly at me. I flushed and said "It's really inappropriate, because I'm growing up." He came closer and leaned on me, he was so close that I could feel his breath over my face. He whispered to my ears "Yes, you're growing beautiful day by day and I'm afraid of loosing you." My cheeks turned red and he smirked. In a teasing manner he said "Come on, get rid of your dirty thoughts" "Oh really? You're the one in my bathroom by the way" I put my hands on my hips and waited for him to leave. ×----×----×---×---× Its a story about a little girl growing up with her grandparents blessed with powers and a curse for others. She's alienated from people because of her nature. Its an adventurous story which later on unfolds with unexpected twists and plot. One can feel nostalgic as well as recall their own childhood.
