Alexis moves to New York leaving behind her comfort zone in the form of the cozy town of Schitt's Creek. Away from the community that she had grown to love as her family, she begins to rebuild herself from scratch. But what happens when she encounters the communications giant Richard Grant as an employee of Grant Networks, and more so, when she is forced to work alongside his bratty son Mark? As she rediscovers her footing as an independent professional after launching her own communication consultancy in Schitt's Creek and getting her heart broken by Ted Mullens, she has got nothing to lose and has no time to fall in love again. But does New York have different plans for her? Will she be able to let go of her high horse and work as a regular employee? Or will she pack her bags back to Schitt's Creek and join her father to expand the Rosebud Motel chain? The book may or may not have guest cameos of the Schitt's Creek characters, so stay tuned.
