Silver Wright was just an ordinary boy living an ordinary life... Or is he? On his fourteenth birthday, spies from another dimension came stirring knowing his powers would eventually arise. As he discovers his real life, he learns that a powerful relic will help him know more about this new world he believe is his home. But the more he discovers, the more vulnerable he is to the evil king. With the help of his friends, will he find the relic before the king does?

You wake up in a sunny clearing. Above is a man-sized hole in the..sky? You stand up and look around. Around you is a dark forest. The bark is a dark almost black brown, and the leaves are a deep green. The 'sky' is pitch black except for the hole that you made. The sun is the only light here. This is my contribution to the prompts the mods/admins were giving us the month of April for Worlds)(Collide. Which is why I wasn't updating anything else, so I thought you should know. Worlds)(Collide is a mashup thing for The 39 Clues, Infinity Ring and Spirit Animals. At the end of the month, the editors will be combining everyone's entries into one huge awesome mashup story! This is the story I wrote for the Scholastic Art and Writing Competition 2017, titled Colors. This story won Gold for Regionals and Nationals, so like it if you think it's a good story!

I was the type of girl that pretended to know everything that people used to tell me, I wanted to be known as an intelligent girl so that my mother would be proud of me. My mother was entirely different than my grandmother and I. Is trying to make my mother proud of me the most important thing in the world? I learned that it isn’t; the most important thing is for me to be proud of myself. I experienced a bit of struggle in my life, but in the end I was proud of the woman that I always was. But what problems did I have to struggle so much in my life? When did I finally become permanently proud of myself?

This short story is based off Greek Mythology and the Greek Gods Zeus and Poseidon. Like, comment, and share!
