Going to a new school is hard enough, but add in the factor of blindness, and that is where Shaelyn stands in her life. She had already gone to a tour of the school before the school year started, but she had never been there with people. And, people are what make life an adventure.

Smile. We do that every day. But sometimes we just forget how valuable that smile actually is. Toshiro, as he calls himself, lost his mother at birth, and is living his life with his father. But little does anyone know the dark secret that the family holds... At a young age, Toshiro runs away from home and starts living an independent life. He goes to school, work, like a normal child would. But one thing is different. He never smiles. Hi! So this is basically a story about a boy with an abusive father that runs away from home and lives on his own. It's about how he copes with the difficulties and changes in his life, and it has a happy ending!! This has no deep angst in it btw. I own none of the pictures, but the story is mine.
