In his first year of high school, Suo Kaizen, a self-absorbed teen obsessed with his own image, is ready to reign supreme over his new social realm. In short, he's a narcissist person ever since he was born. However, his grand plans for high school dominance hit a snag when he inadvertently joins the Gardening Club. There, he meets Miyako Sakura, a thoughtful and empathetic senior with a deep passion for plants and people. Unlike everyone else who avoids Kaizen like the plague, Sakura is genuinely curious about him and sees beyond his narcissistic facade. As Kaizen starts spending time with her, he discovers a world outside his own reflection and feels a strange, new sense of connection. For the first time, someone is trying to understand him instead of just gossiping behind his back, and Kaizen finds himself questioning everything he thought he knew about himself and others. Will Sakura's kindness and other members in the Gardening Club help Kaizen grow into someone who values more than just his own reflection, or will he continue to be stuck in his self-centered ways?
