She never believed in love.
Actually, she never even understood what people meant when they talked about it. Love songs sounded dramatic, couples in school looked annoying, and all those romance stories people cried over never made sense to her.
Until one afternoon.
The final bell had already rung, students were rushing outside in noisy groups, and she was standing near the school gate waiting for her ride like any other normal day.
And then she saw him.
She didn't know his name.
Didn't know which class he was in.
Didn't even know why her eyes stayed on him longer than they should have.
But something about him felt... different.
After that day, things slowly began changing without her even realizing it.
Her eyes started searching for him in crowded corridors.
She began walking a little slower near certain classrooms.
Sometimes she would stand near the staircase for no reason at all, secretly hoping to catch one small glimpse of him passing by.
And every time she did, her entire day felt strangely lighter.
Days turned into weeks, and those silent little moments became a habit she could no longer control.
Until one day, while she was pretending to look outside the corridor window again, she felt someone staring back.
She turned slightly.
And there he was.
Leaning a little from the classroom door, quietly peeking at her with the softest smile she had ever seen.
