This story is about the path of a quiet girl who has sworn to never become a victim again. This girl is called, Alinta Ernaline. She has been put through all sorts of trials, and this is where her main journey starts. The path to making sure no one else could hurt her anymore.

They told me there a had been a fire. Lots of people didn't make it. I don't remember much. The doctor said that it was normal. I do remember a little. I remember the flames, that hungrily licked at every substance they could consume. My class had been trapped in the dead end of the science labs. Second floor up. Nearly everyone was in hysterics. The flames were only getting closer. Students were crying. There were faint yells and screams, coming from the distant classrooms. The teacher had grabbed the fire extinguisher. It wasn't doing much. Another few seconds past, the teacher used the red bottle of gas and began smashing the windows, or at least attempting to... Then we must have jumped, some of us must have... But not everyone made it. That's what they keep telling me. But not everyone made it. My friend Gracie died. Along with sixty seven other teachers and pupils. Everyone changed after the fire. Including Damien Thornton...
