This story is about a girl named Nicole Thomson. Plus her best friend Ashlee. Nicole has alway wanted a pet,especially a dog. But her family alway pushed the thought away. One day after school Nicole and her dad found a stray puppy in a box on the street. Nicole begs her dad and finally he said yes. But one day the puppy (they named him Cloud) goes missing and if not that, he was stolen. Read this story to go along the journey of helping Cloud make his way "Back Home."

Today is the first day of summer break and you have decided to relax from the long school year that just ended. After getting home from the short school day, you kick off your shoes and set your backpack down. You can't wait to hang out with your friends this summer.

Squid was crying again but in anger. "They reckon I'm stupid. All I try to do is the right thing. I thought they were my friends and family but no, I guess I was wrong!" Squid cried. "Tom, I miss you, I want my older brother back!". He then remembered seeing Ricki, the car that hit Tom. Everything was put together. Ricki had tried to kill Squid by running him over but Tom had pushed him out of the way and took the hit full on. Memories of that year started filling Squid's head. In the background he would always hear a gunshot, screaming, evil laughter, screeching tires, all the bad stuff he had heard through out that year. He started yelling "Stop! Stop it! Leave me alone! Don't hurt me! Ash you'll be alright! Tom no! Stop!" Soon all of this was too much and he passed out on the floor and the last thing he heard was Ash's voice saying "Squid, stay with me buddy, come on, don't close your eyes" then nothing, just quiet and darkness. School's out and the gang decide to go on a holiday near Brighton Pier to try and forget the year they've had but, will it be that easy? They think it's all over but really, it was only the beginning. Someone returns wanting revenge and Squid becomes a target. Always having to look over his shoulder to see if he is safe and relying on others for his safety but, is that enough? When someone ends up in hospital, it starts to tear Squid apart as his world starts to crumble at his feet yet again. #Wattys2017

Casandra Williams, not the average child and try to keep her away from the stage. Warning: Call her Cass or Cassie, but never Cassandra Don't worry she does have friends. Trying to spend 3 months of summer productively Cass goes to look for a job. To her luck, she finds a job in a quiet coffee shop. It's a win-win she gets to spend her time doing something and gets money! But what happens when a certain boy comes in every day. Let's just say annoying Cassie is his strong point.

"my phone!" I say. "they're not dumb enough to actually let you keep your-" Avery says before I pull out my phone. I sulk " its about to die" "well call someone quickly then!!" "ohk ohk jeez girl, take a chill pill... err who should I call?" I scratch my head "SOMEBODY ! ANYBODY!!" she yells and my ears bleed, I dial Tyler's number. It rings a few times before he picks up "yo who dis?" he asks and I hear faint music in the background. They're probably still at that party. "its Kimberley." "Kimberley? Who's- oh! Right my sister, haha forgot I had one for a second there." I put my hand on my chest offended. "how could you forget the person who makes you breakfast everyda- sometimes." I say with my hand still on my chest. Avery tries to say something but I shush her. "Where are you guys anyway? And why'd you call? Are you lost or something?" he asks and I shake my heads but remember he can't see me so I say no. Why did I call him? I heard the guys behind the door talking about the spare key and I finally remember why I called. By then they've found the key. Then I remembered... "OMG TYLER! I WAS KIDNAPPED BY A MOOSE!!" is the last thing I say before my phone dies ------------- Haha you read to the end, might as well just read the whole book. 👁👄👁 Isn't food just such a beautiful thing?
