Fall of 2025 you move to Split River High hoping to have a good Junior year and not worry about drama or social crowds. Soon you find three totally different ghosts who you befriend your Junior year at your new school. What will this new school year or friends hold for you...?

Donnie never believed in spirits. So when his brother and him travel to an abandoned house at nighttime, his main goal is to boost his ego by proving that ghosts do not exists whatsoever. Except, by trying to prove that, he only encountered something that could change his mind and course of studies completely. When he does in fact meet a ghost there named Y/n he realizes that he's been wrong this whole time. Y/n on the other hand is just a free spirit who wanders around with nothing to do. She doesn't really have family to watch over, or friends, in fact she doesn't remember anything of her old life or how she died. It's been a mystery to her for years now and for some reason no pieces are being put together. death isn't something that anyone expects, much less murder. mackenzie huntington was killed in 2013. ten years before maddie nears. thirty years after wally clark. one thing guaranteed in life is death, the only thing that varies is how. she never imagined what the afterlife could entail, and never in a million years did she think she had to die to meet her soulmate.

Death had become her. Maxine Baxter had been eighteen with her whole life ahead of her and it only took ten minutes for that life to end.
