After America and Maxon were married the castes were officially removed. They had 4 children. The Eldest Prince Micah, The middle child Prince Shalom, and the youngest were twin girls Princesses Amberley and Celeste. Micah has recently turned 18 and now it is time for his Selection. Dahlia Merchant is a performer in her Province Kent trying to provide for her Mother and younger sister Paisley. Dahlia has nothing against The Selection but has no desire to become a princess. When the forms are sent out and her family is in need of the money she needs to make a choice. I mean what's the worst that can happen when 35 girls are competing for one man? Royals of Illea will follow Kaden and Josie's story after their wedding. Kaden gets offered a position with the Government of Illea that he never dreamed of getting and Josie is there to support him every step of the way. Other characters from the original books will also make appearances.
