Lucy Van Pelt, now a high school-er, has oddly found herself getting used to playing the violin. At first, it was just to mock music, but for some reason, she realised she was actually enjoying it. Being a huge classical music hater as an elementary student, she couldn't have fathomed the thought that she would ever join the music club. The club that an old childhood crush, Schroeder, hosts. The characters are aged up in this! And this is also a violinist Lucy AU. I do not own the characters in this fanfiction. All rights to the characters go to their property owner(s). I am simply writing fiction based off the Peanuts comics! Charlie Brown and his friends each go their separate ways as they get accepted into national universities. He finds that his friend, Shroeder, seems to be distracted and cannot quite pinpoint what it is. Meanwhile, he navigates his way through proving the bullies he grew up with, especially Lucy, that he is not the "blockhead" they know him as.

Lucy is increasingly convinced that her love is unrequited. But Schroeder knows deep down that it is quite the opposite. Because every time he sees her black hair, her mischievous smile, her brutal honesty, her bow tied in her hair, her tender blue dress, he feels something that not even the notes of his piano can express.

For all the years Schroeder's known her, Lucy has always remained the same in his mind: ambitious, witty, fiery, and incomparably smart. Yet, in their senior year of high school, something shifts. The girl who once could never leave his side was drifting away while his heart was finally pulling him towards her. With less than a year left before they leave for college, Schroeder has to navigate the newfound feelings that have arrived considerably late.

I don't really care for ships as much anymore I don't ship those ships anymore but they are cute ships the only peanuts ships I like personally since those characters have interesting dynamics

Everyone is talking about prom, but when Schroeder finds out that Lucy has a date, that's not him, he starts to get really jealous, and thinks that he might like her. Lucy knows she still loves Schroeder, but after what he said to her, she's not quite sure. Will this prom go as they think, or will their chances of dating be lost for good...
