In the freezing city of Bottineau, North Dakota, the eccentric seventeen-year-old Liza Duchess is in the middle of her senior year. Hockey games, prom and graduation are the only things she and her best friend Nathan, a hockey player with a taste for huge fur coats, have on their agenda. Yet despite her normal routine, Liza begins feeling odd sensations, having the same nightmare over and over, and even not seeing properly. This all begins to come more into view after a mysterious being shows up in her city-and it's looking for her. What they don't know is that far into the universe, a galaxy unreachable is at war for the survival of all existence. For all Time and Space. It all comes crashing down on Liza when she's told she's the only one who can save both. With the help of a hockey player, a scientist, and an alien, Liza sets on a journey to save Time, Space, and all of existence. And maybe even to discover who she was really born to be along the way.
