With the mission to break the cycle, a new expedition is set to sail after Gommage's Day. Enlisted with people full of motivation and years of preparation, all the citizens of Lumière place again their hopes of a new year in them. Will they succeed in removing their curse ? Or are they heading towards an inevitable death like the previous expeditions ? Who knows. And what would happen if a mysterious young man from another place appeared the day before the Gommage ? Is it going to be an opportunity for him to see the world in other colours than black and white ? It's a story of the mix of two works: "Clair Obscur: Expedition 33" X "Ayanokoji Kiyotaka(COTE)".
