Isabelle Scott hasn't had the greatest life: Her mother died when she was young; her neglectful father has moved her around the country constantly since she was seven-years-old; and for years, she's forgotten major details and significant chunks of time. For the first time in her life, however, things have begun to look up. Her father had finally agreed to quit with the constant moving so she could have a normal Senior year in high school, and almost immediately after the school year started, she began to make friends fast and even edged towards getting a boyfriend. And even her memory blackouts seemed to come to screeching halt. But of course, it was all too good to be true. Only three months after the move, Isabelle starts to have intense dreams filled with fire that feel far too real. She comes home from her school prom one night and learns that her father is missing, and the only lead she has on what happened comes from a childhood friend she hasn't spoken to in years who just shows up on her doorstep, claiming to have all the answers. Isabelle feels she has no choice but to trust him--her father is all she has left--and her friend quickly becomes the key to a past that was hidden from her, and leads her to a future that she could never have imagined in her wildest dreams, even ones crackling with flame.
  • Why Virtual Labs Are Making Students Worse at Real Science? by makermuse

Walk into any modern classroom and you'll find students "experimenting" - not with beakers or test tubes, but with a mouse and a screen. Virtual labs have transformed science education, offering safety, convenience, and cost-effectiveness. But behind the screen lies a silent concern - students are losing touch with real science. Virtual labs skyrocketed during the pandemic and stayed because they're easy to manage and budget-friendly. Students can now perform dozens of experiments with a few clicks. But what's missing? The real-world experience. The smell of chemicals, the sound of bubbling reactions, the frustration of failed trials, and the joy of discovery - the true essence of science. By replacing messy experiments with perfect simulations, we risk raising a generation of students who know the answers but not the process. Real labs teach observation, patience, precision, and problem-solving - skills no screen can replicate. In virtual setups, everything works flawlessly, leaving no room for critical thinking, creativity, or curiosity. Science isn't just data - it's emotion. It's excitement, failure, and wonder. When learning becomes a series of clicks, students lose that emotional connection. They may ace digital tests but struggle in real labs or future research environments. The solution isn't to abandon technology, but to balance it. Virtual labs can introduce concepts safely, while physical labs bring them to life. Schools must integrate both letting students see the theory online and feel it in the lab. At Makers' Muse, we bridge this gap through hands-on STEM programs and makerspaces for students from Class 1 to 12. Our approach blends digital innovation with real-world exploration helping learners rediscover the magic of real science. Makers' Muse - Where Curiosity Meets Creation.

Conflict rose and fell when power-holding beings joined the humans on this earth. In modern times most of the hatred had thinned or erased but for some it still remains. A facility that mostly targets adult power-wielders has harmful goals and is quite through. What happens when they decide to prey on subjects that aren't exactly like the rest? (I don't own the cover image. However I own almost all the characters in this book and the world of Plead of the Flain.)

Zuma has been a part of the PAW Patrol for a while now. Life feels great, friends for a lifetime, But a missing piece to his story of wonders. What happens when a certain science experiment visiting Adventure Bay with their owner plays with his head? Will Zuma find the missing piece or will he forever be wondering what the piece could be? Find out in this drama filled, fluff and emotional rollercoaster of a book. P.S: This book will have a bit of swearing, it's just un helpable. The PAW Patrol does not belong to me, all those characters belong to Nickelodeon and the writers of the series. There will be some characters of mine that have just randomly been named and thrown in for the story line. Have fun reading!
