Rank Rookie Sila ang mga baguhan na nagsisimula palang sa pag aaral ng mahika. May dalawang klase ang isang Rookie, ang advanced section at begginers section. Silang lahat ay nagsusumikap na talunin ang mga kalaban, sila ay ang mga Savages, patuloy silang rumarami sa mundo. Kada taon ay may tinataguriang the Great General Slayer, siya ang tinaguriang pinakamalakas sa lahat ng Slayers sa academy.
