Peter's normalcy unravels yet again as he balances life as Peter Parker with his life as Spider-Man, tracking down what the public has labeled as "The Magenta Ghost". At school, he deals a new problem in the form of a newly arrived student with a cold demeanor, rude behavior, and heartless attitude, who chooses to push down those around him in order to get by. And when Peter meets a struggling student, sinking in the weight of her own problems, he comes to learn that being a hero is more than just swinging in to save somebody from a near death experience. Peter finds himself dodging an enemy seeking Spider-Man, and seeking to uncover his true identity. Dodging the Magenta Ghost who goes from thief to hunter, dodging nightmares, and dodging the horrifying possibility that the peace he'd scraped to have and clung desperately onto, could be torn apart... ...
