Murray Mikhail has always been the pinnacle of journalism, working his way to the top of the ladder. He didn't regret that part, not one bit. What he regretted was the devotion he strived for - the same devotion that led to a halt in his works, months of unproductivity and frustration. He disappeared from society early one morning during what was meant to be a short getaway to the woods. Los Angeles has always shone brightly. For over a hundred years, it has been the vibrant center of Hollywood. A place filled with dreams, glamorous streets, and an enchanting allure, red carpets rolled out along Hollywood Boulevard. While the Walk of Fame sparkled under a sun, that seemed to radiate more warmth than anywhere else on Earth. Music spilled out from clubs on Sunset Strip, laughter bounced around the mansionsof Beverly Hills, and cameras clicked away, capturing moments destined to be shared worldwide. Life here was vibrant, fast paced, and full of energy. Then came the Night Fall Virus. It spread quicker than any public health alert could keep up with the city was eerily quiet. The virus fundamentally changed human biology in a way we never expected. Those who got infected didn't exactly die, their hearts kept beating, though slowly and erratically, and they continued to breathe. But their minds were gone, completely stripped of memories, emotions, and humanity, leaving just a raw instinct to feed. They weren't people anymore but mere shadows of the once vibrant individuals, artists, tourists, and locals, who used to fill the streets. Important Disclaimer: This story includes some intense scenes with graphic violence, body horror, decaying imagery, and deep psychological suffering. These elements aren't just there for shock, they're meant to create a heavy atmosphere of fear, examine human resilience. And push readers to face some tough realities about survival, morality, and who we are. It's really geared towards adult readers who can handled mature themes that might challenge their comfort zones. Please proceed with caution! Writing Timeline: I created this between March 1 - June 24, 2022, this story comes from months of experimenting with ideas, expressing raw feelings. And truly thinking about what it means to be human in a time when everything we know falls apart.

I was inspired by Chapter 5 of Poppy Playtime to make this story (specifically the memories). The book will take the POVs of the many children turned into monsters and end with The Hour of Joy (With a possible epilogue). I hope you enjoy it! It's a AU, and a story of my own, but follows after the main story of "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and "Spider-Man: Far From Home".
