No one ever said what would happen when dragons and aliens meet. And no one told me that I would be in the middle of it. Tasha was studying hard to get through her last year of university when she was kidnapped. She certainly didn't expect to wake up with four feet and wings. Mad scientists are bad enough, but things get even more complicated when aliens appear and wipe out the human race. Is there a way for her to hide her true identity in this new world while retaining her humanity? --------------------- Sneak Peek: I jumped over the lip of the tray and beat down hard with my wings. I had expected to only slow my fall; I had not expected to end up gaining so much height. I squawked in surprise and spread my wings wide in alarm before gravity regained its hold on me. With several awkward back-winging motions of my wings, I landed lightly on the floor. Well, at least I know my wings work. I glanced at the man in the corner as he was scribbling quick notes. I turned around to regard the tray again. They say practice makes perfect. With another hop and a single wingbeat, I managed to land in the sand tray with fanned wings slowing my momentum. That was much more graceful. But a wing-assisted hop wasn't true flight. And I still wasn't on the windowsill. ---------------------------- Entire semi-polished draft can be read on Wattpad. For centuries, humanity battled its own demons-war, destruction, the ever-present shadow of extinction. But against all odds, it endured. Nations united, wounds healed, and a single banner rose above the entire Earth: United Earth Government and later the United Federation of Planets. By the year 2288, humanity had transformed from a fractured species into a galactic civilization. The Federation stretched across the stars, its influence reaching every corner of the Milky Way. It was an era of peace, progress, and unmatched technological triumph. And yet... they were alone. No matter how far their ships traveled or how many worlds they surveyed, there was no sign of other intelligent life. The universe vast, ancient, and beautiful remained eerily silent. Theories once whispered in academic circles, the "Great Filter," the "Rare Earth" now loomed large and terrifying. Was intelligence a cosmic accident? Was humanity the only one to make it this far? Then, everything changed. On the eve of humanity's historic voyage to Andromeda (M31). As their science vessel prepared for its journey across 2.6 million light years, something unprecedented occurred. In a flash, space itself seemed to twist and fold, as the Milky Way merged with another galaxy in instant, one far larger and older than their own. Now, in this strange, limitless frontier, humanity's greatest adventure was only just beginning. Would they adapt and survive, or uncover something beyond their wildest understanding? Only time would reveal the truth... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Heavily influenced by Nihonkoku Shoukan by Minorou, Anime GATE and various nation summoned novels here in wattpad. English is not my native language so please feel free correcting any spelling mistakes or grammatical errors.

Sejoun had always been an avid fan of the Pokémon games, spending countless hours exploring their vast worlds and training his favorite creatures. One fateful night, while playing until midnight, he suddenly collapsed and lost consciousness without warning. When he awoke, Sejoun found himself in an unfamiliar parallel world-one far different from his own. This was a realm where biotechnology had advanced far beyond imagination. Here, scientists and corporations possessed the ability to design entirely new species, granting them extraordinary abilities and shaping life itself as though it were clay in their hands. Sejoun soon discovered that he was the owner of a struggling biotech company teetering on the brink of bankruptcy. Yet, as if guided by destiny, something miraculous happened: a mysterious "Pokémon system" appeared before him. With its power, he was able to draw upon his deep knowledge and passion for Pokémon, recreating the beloved creatures that had once only existed in games and stories. From his laboratory, Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle, and countless other Pokémon were born into reality for the first time, astonishing the world. What was once a failing company suddenly transformed into a thriving empire, drawing global attention and admiration. Children and adults alike were enchanted, scientists marveled at the possibilities, and soon, Pokémon became more than entertainment-it became a culture, a way of life. Under Sejoun's leadership, his company rose from obscurity to global prominence, with Pokémon at its core. He became known as the visionary creator of Pokémon, a pioneer who reshaped the world through his dream. The creatures that once existed only in games now lived, battled, and thrived alongside humanity. I also post this on royalroad.

A continuation of the acclaimed novel BEYOND THE LIGHT. The answers remain buried in ruin. What gave birth to the monsters? Can a broken world ever return to what it once was? And how does humanity evolve when survival demands sacrifice? As ash settles over a dying civilization, the line between man and monster grows dangerously thin. Old truths are questioned, new powers awaken, and survival is no longer about strength alone-but choice. In a world reshaped by destruction, every step forward comes at a cost, and growth is forged through loss, pain, and impossible decisions. Beyond the Light - Volume II explores what happens after survival-when humanity must decide not just how to live, but what it is willing to become.

This is a character-focused prequel exploring the world before the main story. The world ended quietly. Not with fire or war - but with convenience, control, and loss of hope. Yami lives in what remains. A city where movement is restricted, jobs are assigned, hope is treated as a disease, and the past has been rewritten. Religion teaches that hate is necessary. The Council teaches that obedience is peace. But Yami remembers things he was never meant to know. Raised by foster grandparents who believed in myths, he grew up on stories of a forgotten empress, a world that once held colour, and ruins that refused to stay silent. Now an information broker, hacker, and branded a criminal, Yami simply survives. This is a story of the waiting. Before hope returned. Before the world remembered. Before everything changed.

Empires rose and fell, their banners torn apart in the chaos of conflict, as humanity wielded its greatest achievements not for progress, but for war. Innovation became a tool of violence, creating weapons of unimaginable power, only to see them turned against the very civilizations that created them. Amid the chaos, one nation stood apart, a beacon of hope and technological supremacy: the Imperial Federation of Alnania. Forged by centuries of unrelenting conflict, the Federation rose to become the world's mightiest superpower. Its people, hardened by history, embraced a singular philosophy, "Progress through Unity, and Peace through Dominance". The Federation was now getting ready for its most recent campaign, the invasion of the Republic of Volkov. An attractive opportunity was offered by the Republic's fragility, which was plagued by internal insurrection and administrative collapse. For at the end of this, they shall impose a new world order. True peace, they believed, could only be achieved through the Federation's iron hand. But as the Federation stood ready to strike, the impossible happened. In a flash of light that defied reason, the entire nation was transported to a strange new world. A realm of of magic, and mythical creatures. Filled with empires and nations with their own ambitions. Faced with this mysterious new world, the Imperial Federation saw not despair, but opportunity. Armed with their technological might and indomitable spirit, they prepared to forge a new destiny. However, when he's unexpectedly called back to Almia with concerns about the Rainbow Bird Pokémon, Parity and Blue-Bird, he never expects to run into Ash, Brock, and Dawn again, who ask to go with him. Although reluctant, Kellyn agrees they can come, as long as they keep their distance and let him complete his mission himself, but that proves difficult with Ash's clumsiness, curiosity, and love for Pokémon--and when the mission turns out to be more dangerous than Kellyn thought. When nefarious forces rise, the Pokémon team must work together before it's too late for not only them, but also all of Almia and Sinnoh. Nonetheless, Kellyn is not too eager to ask for help. *** * A Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia and Pokémon Diamond and Pearl: Battle Dimension fanfic.* * A Pokémon Rainbow and Blue (my own region) story.* *Main tropes: grumpyxsunshine (not graphic), found family, slowburn.* *Moral: "Don't be afraid of failure."*
