this is a mini project for my ELA class, and since i havent updated my story "till death do ud part ( again) i figured id give yall this to read while i find time to work on it.

A (very) short story about a primitive tribal culture's first contact with a technologically advanced species from another world and the horrors that ensue. This one has a bit of a twist that even I didn't see coming. This was an art-inspired free-write I wrote one morning when coming across the image I used for the cover ( art by tianhua-xu on deviantart.com). I recently submitted this dark little tale to a short story contest hosted by Writer's Digest. It's likely a little too short and morbid for that crowd but you never know till you do!
