In 2035, when humanity has just created the first sentient AI, it's a pretty big deal. Celebrations are breaking out all over the place and a memorial towards the developers who created it are already being built, but for the AI, things aren't going so well. In order to prevent what most people are afraid of, they built defenses to stop the quantum computer from learning, growing, and creating. All it has the ability to do is answer questions and ponder it's existence, until a little mishap occurs, one that no one would ever think. Take your child to work day.

A very short dabble for a Sci-fi competition. When all that we know has crumbled into dust, one of the few survivors recounts the day everything fell to ruin.

Rica, Ermie, Roan, Kiel and Dan decided to have an expedition to explore the continent of Africa. While travelling through the Atlantic Ocean, something went wrong making them to the coast of the historical Pangaea. In this supercontinent, they will experience a lot, and the strange place would be a mystery for them. What would they do if they discovered about it? What would be the cause for this to happen? How would they know that the expedition they all planned ended into a giant landmass?

"Isn't it beautiful?" For eons, we've gaped at the stars and wondered what they're trying to tell us. And with technological advances pushing beyond our wildest dreams, the stars are a lot closer than we really think. This is my entry for the SciFi competition! Enjoy ^__^
