In 2002, Sarah was a woman who had everything: a brilliant career in physics, a loving husband, and a daughter who was her entire world. In a single heartbeat on a sun-drenched coastal road, it was all stripped away. Driven by a grief that defies the laws of nature, Sarah perfects the "Temporal Displacement Engine" they once built together. But after dozens of failed attempts to save her family, she learns a bitter truth: The past is a fixed point. Searching for an answer in the distant future, Sarah leaps forward, passing through a high-tech neon paradise before crashing into the year 802,701. But the lush, 1960s-style garden of the Eloi hides a primitive nightmare. To save a new world, Sarah must face the Overlord-a man with hypnotic eyes who rules a hive of spider-like monsters. He offers her the one thing she's always wanted: a chance to live in her memories forever. Now, Sarah must decide if she will stay trapped in the perfect lie of 2002, or burn the past to the ground to give the future a chance to breathe.

When the crew of the deep space mining vessel Hyperion discovers a perfect geometric artifact inside an asteroid, they have no idea they've just encountered humanity's greatest threat-and possibly its salvation. Dr. Eliza Chen and her fellow scientists watch in growing horror as the dodecahedron artifact begins to influence their ship, their minds, and eventually their bodies. First come the impossibly vivid dreams of home. Then personal items appear where they shouldn't be. As the mysterious effects escalate, the crew discovers duplicate versions of themselves growing in hidden chambers throughout the ship. But the terrifying truth is far more complex than invasion. Half the crew falls ill with a deadly bacterial infection, while the others remain mysteriously immune. When they intercept a transmission from Earth revealing a global pandemic has already begun, they realize the artifact wasn't sent to destroy humanity-it's trying to save it by evolving those who can withstand the coming plague. As the ship breaks down around them, the crew must make an impossible choice: resist the transformation and maintain their human identity, or embrace evolution and return to Earth as something both less and more than human. A sci-fi horror exploration of identity, evolution, and what it truly means to be human in the face of extinction. #ScienceFiction #Horror #FirstContact #SpaceHorror #Pandemic #Evolution

Karaa Jun, a Space Marine of the PFS (Pegasus Star Force) took some time recovering from her injuries from a nightmarish traumatic experience after a failed classified mission on planet Marros-E709Y. Since then, she hasn't been the same as before arriving on Marros-E709Y. With the new medical advancements to heal her wounds, Karaa was given a second chance. However, she wanted to have some time for herself and her friends before officially returning to the PSF by attending illegal rave parties without being caught by the authorities. Even before she joined the PSF, she had always been a party girl who loved to have fun. Unfortunately, her fun doesn't last too long when encountering something similar she dealt with before since joining the PSF. Sometimes it's best to never blindly follow the crowd because sometimes the wrong crowd can lead the blind into something much darker than the tunnel itself.

(WINNER!!! ☺️☺️of the Wattpad Sci-fi Competition and Challenges August 2020: Smile) A short story of a thousand words about a man who was obsessed with the stars. This is my entry for the ScienceFiction contest here on Wattpad. It is the first time I'm writing a short story after so many months spent laboring over a book that still hasn't surfaced. I haven't written a lot of stuff, but I still like to think I can put a sentence or two together. The story is science-fiction and arises from an image prompt of a galaxy cluster positioned in such a way that it looks like a face that's smiling (see the media attached to the story). It got my otaku mind thinking, and in a few minutes of thoughtful brooding, I came up with this idea. After fleshing it out, I started writing it. It feels really good to actually write again, no matter how it came out. I've been in the throes of self-doubt for a long, long time; so long that I stopped critiquing stories (if I can't write them, who am I to criticize them?) and ultimately stopped reading. So I'm hoping that with this story, I might actually have broken through that wall. I might finally finish that book. (Though it's more like start) So here you go. Welcome to my scribbles. Don't forget to tell me what you think, as you think. The inline comment feature was created for a reason. Let me know what part deserves praise and what parts require close attention. Let's grow our writing skills together. We are ONE. [Wattpad Sci-fi Competition and Challenges entry - August 2020: Smile]

In a world where sound kills, silence is survival. After a mysterious global phenomenon known as The Harmonic Pulse, ordinary sounds began awakening parasitic organisms buried deep in the human nervous system - turning people into mindless, violent husks. Civilization fell in less than a year. Now, silence isn't just a strategy. It's law. An elite extraction team, armed with experimental noise-canceling gear, is sent into a sealed biotech facility believed to be ground zero for the outbreak. Their mission: find a missing scientist who may have triggered the Pulse - and who may be the only one who can stop it. But what lurks in the facility has evolved. Some things... can mimic silence. The Silence Protocol is a relentless action-horror thriller that explores isolation, survival, and what happens when even a whisper could cost you everything.

The fourteenth novel in The Shadow Wars. Colonies are being attacked along the Far Reach. Hundreds of people have been murdered. Very little information has been gathered on those responsible, but what is known so far is chilling. They are monstrous men and women who have been heavily modified by technology, gruesomely grafted directly into their flesh. They know no fear, no mercy, no pity. They cannot be threatened, bribed, or reasoned with. Anomalous Operations has been trying to deal with them for weeks now, attempting to discover where it is they are hiding, who they are, and how to stop them. Finally, a break in the case comes. The secret location of their headquarters is discovered. Allan Gray and Callie Ward, along with a squad of veteran soldiers, are dispatched beyond the Far Reach to put these techno-terrorists down for good. But something is waiting for them in the darkness, something of immense power and cold, calculating evil...

Six years have passed since the Eternal Crown Marker shard shattered on Aegis VII. From that cataclysm emerged a power both god-like and unstoppable, its influence leeching into the farthest reaches of deep space. A new era of horror has dawned-one where the line between man and monster dissolves, and survival demands more than defiance. It demands transformation. Three destinies now intertwine amid a collapsing galaxy: The Avenger, driven by vengeance sharper than any blade. The Shaper, whose iron will can bend flesh and fate alike. The Wrath Incarnate, born of rage so pure it reshapes worlds. Each bears the ghost of Isaac Clarke's legacy, yet none remain linked to his destiny. This is not a remake. This is Dead Space-Awakened reimagined. Dive deeper into the Marker mythos, encounter brand-new terrors, and face the ultimate question: What happens when the nightmare doesn't just change the world... but changes who we are?

The fifteenth, and final, novel in The Shadow Wars. Greg Bishop finds himself in an all too familiar, and disturbing, situation: he has awoken in a cell with no idea of how he has gotten there, where he is, or why he has been locked up. As he escapes and begins searching the area around him, he makes several horrifying discoveries. His closest friends have been captured by an unknown group, and so have many horrors from their past. Alien monsters and otherworldly creatures roam the halls, beasts that they all thought they would never have to face again. Outnumbered, injured, and terrified, the survivors must battle against old foes, monstrous horrors, and the environment itself if they are to get out of this one alive...

Antarctica was never meant to be understood. When a team of researchers arrives at a remote Antarctic outpost to investigate unusual melt patterns beneath the ice, they expect faulty instruments, unstable weather, and the familiar dangers of the most isolated place on Earth. What they find instead is something that should not exist-an unnatural fracture in the ice, warm to the touch, impossibly precise. And beneath it... a door. What lies beyond the ice is not ruin or emptiness, but evidence of deliberate design-ancient structures, preserved life, and a vast hidden world that challenges everything humanity believes about its own history. Creatures long thought extinct are not dead, only sleeping. Others were never known to science at all. And the ice that held them is beginning to fail. As the boundary between worlds weakens, the expedition is forced into an impossible alliance with a civilization that has lived in secrecy for millennia-guardians of a truth humanity was never meant to uncover. A truth hidden not out of malice, but restraint. Because the ice was not preserving the past. It was containing it. Where the Ice Breaks is a slow-burn science fiction thriller blending discovery, horror, and wonder-where survival depends not on conquest, but on understanding what should never have been found.
