Going to high school isn't the easiest thing in the world, at least not in her eyes. Maxine Reame is a sixteen year old girl, normal. Ish. Maxine was bullied all through middle school, but when she finally got a boyfriend on the football team, that all stopped. She began falling for him, but he didn't truly care about her. So Max just uses him as an excuse not to be bullied anymore. She gave up her hopeless love for him, and just took whatever life had to throw at her. Well, until she moves. Now, Max is in the same position as she was in middle school. Either face the fact she's being bullied, or go out with the jock that had taken an interest in her. Max meets gets into a small group of five people, and they quickly bond. But one guy doesn't seem to like her so much. Will Max make the same mistakes as last time? Or will everything change? Perhaps she's more different than anyone would have thought.

So if Analighe wasn't going to say it, Johnathan would. "Look I know when you aren't telling me something, because you're quiet, and you're not usually quiet. What could possibly be wrong with you?" Still silence. As her face started to turn red Johnathan went, "You did it didn't you?" he finally thought of what could be wrong with her. "You fell for me. When I specifically told you not told you not to." That was when she turned bright red. "I knew you would after you kissed me," Johnathan shook his head disappointedly. "No, I didn't fall for you. You don't get that kind of satisfaction from when I first saw you, I knew I wouldn't be with Mac anymore, and that I should be with you." As Johnathan pulled up to her house, he grabbed her face and brought her mouth to his. And once he pulled back he smiled, "I knew it."

Jade is a pretty, smart, strong, calm and sporty young girl. Or should I say, girls. There's no such thing as a perfect person or life. All her life, Jade has been different. Sure she's popular and has... acquaintances to sit with at lunch and all that jazz, but she's always stayed on her own, always been a mystery to her friends and family. She could have everything, and yet she keeps to herself. At least, that's what it looks like. In truth, she has several other friends. TRUE friends. The only problem is that that they're all herself.
