What I didn't know was that this wouldn't be the end, it would be the start, and that this so called cure they'd created would be the downfall of many, including some of them. This would be the end of only one thing: this safe haven I've been living in, surrounded by medical and technical geniuses. From that day onward, I would be on my own...right?
